The Waterfall Side Table

The waterfall side table is a zero waste product inspired by cascading water. The inspiration comes from the extraordinary way that salmon swim upstream to the pool of water they were born in just to lay their eggs. They end their lives in the very waters they were born in. Through this piece we try and depict the suppressed darker area on the top of the table representative of a lake flowing over the edge. The inset has been stained a darker color to emphasize the dept of the space thus making the used conscious of the fact that there is a difference in height at the table top.
